
Currently, 123 CRE train routes pass through Alataw Pass, covering 21 countries including Germany and Poland. The port handles an average of more than 21 trains per day, peaking at 30 trains per day. In total, 28.9273 million tons of goods were transported throughout the year, representing an 8.41% year-on-year increase. In 2024, the port handled 7,684 CRE (China-Central Asia) trains, up 15.8% year on year, hitting a record high.
Alataw Pass has been approved as a national pilot for smart ports. By advancing digital port construction and optimizing customs clearance procedures, it has significantly improved train throughput efficiency. As a key node in the Belt and Road Initiative, the port provides strong support for building a new pattern of opening-up.
