On October 16, the International Union of Railways (UIC) held the first "Passenger-Friendly Railway Services and Experiences Awards" ceremony in Paris, France. The "Panda Train", submitted by Sichuan Chengdu Railway International Commerce & Tourism Group Co., Ltd. under CR-Chengdu, stood out in the evaluation and won the "Special Prize of the Jury for Long-Distance Tourist-Friendly Trains and Onboard Services (for journeys over 2.5 hours)". As of October 15, the "Panda Train" has operated 48 services this year, with senior passengers aged 60 and above accounting for more than 70% of the total ridership.
