On October 13, at the construction site of the Luhongjiang Super Major Bridge on the Shaoyang-Yongzhou High Speed Railway in Yongzhou city, Hunan province, a 32.6-meter-long, nearly 817-ton box girder was smoothly installed. This marked the official start of beam erection for Section 3 of the railway and signified that the project had entered its peak construction phase. The Shaoyang-Yongzhou High Speed Railway is an important part of the Huhhot-Nanning corridor within China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network.
