Successful Rotation of the Largest and Heaviest Swing Bridge of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High Speed Railway
On September 30, the 128-meter continuous beam of the Tonghe Super Major Bridge on Section 4 of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High Speed Railway (Shanxi segment) was successfully rotated across the Shuohuang Railway. The 23,000-ton double-T beam bridge structure smoothly completed a 33-degree counterclockwise rotation along the preset track and was accurately positioned. The project overcame core technical challenges in constructing over a busy energy transport corridor, pressing the "acceleration button" for the subsequent construction of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High Speed Railway. Once completed, the railway will significantly shorten travel time between Shanxi province and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
