On October 11, a grain freight train consisting of 50 wagons and carrying over 3,200 tons of corn departed from Shengchang Railway Station in Shuangyashan city, Heilongjiang province, bound for Jin'gang Port in Dalian, Liaoning province. The cargo will later be transshipped to Shanghai, Sichuan and Yunnan. This is the first scheduled direct grain freight train to port operated by CR-Harbin this year, providing stronger support for the "north-to-south grain transportation" initiative.
