The Hungary-Serbia railway connects the capitals Belgrade and Budapest, spanning 341.7 km, of which 183.1 km lies within Serbia, with a designed maximum speed of 200 km/h. The newly opened Novi Sad-Subotica section is 108.1 km long and includes 12 stations. The Hungary-Serbia railway is a flagship project of China-Central and Eastern Europe cooperation and the first project to adopt China's independently developed railway technology while meeting EU rail interoperability standards.
