According to CR-Huhhot, on October 8, the 1,293rd CRE train, loaded with auto parts and daily goods, departed from Erenhot Railway Port in Inner Mongolia, marking more than 3,000 trains through the CRE Train Middle Corridor this year, 39 days earlier than last year. Erenhot Railway Port has handled over 3,000 CRE trains annually for three consecutive years.
Erenhot Railway Port is the only railway port for inbound and outbound CRE trains along the Middle Corridor. Currently, 74 routes operate from this port, reaching over 70 cities in more than 10 foreign countries, while domestically covering most major departure cities of the CRE train. Since the first train in 2013, nearly 21,000 CRE trains have passed through this port. The cargo composition has been significantly upgraded, with high-value products such as new energy vehicles and high-end machinery increasing from less than 10% in the early stage to over 40% today.
