The world's first intelligent high-speed railway, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway, is about to celebrate its fifth anniversary of operation. Since its opening, the railway authorities have utilized various technological methods,  including 5G technology, the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), intelligent control systems and robotic maintenance, to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the railway.
